Capko is an actor, gagman and clown. He studied with Ctibor Turba and Boris Hybner at HAMU, the Prague Art Academy’s department of nonverbal and comedy theater. During that time he did internships with Switzerland 's Scuola Teatro Dimitri, the Centre National des arts du Cirque in France and workshops with American clown Daniel Gulk. Capko played the main role in “Truck Dog,” written and directed in Prague by James Donlon, which played for three years throughout the Czech and Slovak Republics . Capko is the founding director of Circus Sacra, which focuses mainly on street theater. Recent performances of “Draceana,” and “Mechanika” have been performed throughout the Czech Republic and in Saint Petersburg , Russia . Capko works as a choreographer and movement coach at theaters throughout the Czech Republic including the National Theater and National Opera. He is an assistant professor at the HAMU Nonverbal and comic theater school in Prague , teaching clowning, mime, improvisation, mask, and original performance.
